Sabitha Indra Reddy a Close Aide of Y.S.Rajasekhar Reddy

Y.S.R had started his padayatra from Chevella town in RangaReddy dist of Andhra Pradesh in 2003. Since the MLA of this constituency of that time was Sabitha Indra Reddy , she gave a grand welcome to the Congress party Legislature leader of that time . He called Sabitha as ” Chevella Chellamma ” Since then and the bond between both continued until he died in Helicopter Crash.

Pranahita Chevella Water project which is now re designed as “Kaleshwaram” was designed keeping the promise of YSR during Padhayatra to help Chevella and other Rangareddy district drought areas to get out of the water problem issues. The whole purpose of the project was to bring the Godavari water till Rangareddy Dist through canals.

Involvement in Obulapuram Mining Cases of Gali brothers

Sabitha Indra Reddy was the Mining minister in the Y.S.Raja Sekhar Reddy first term and she was alleged to have allotted a captive mine ( Anantpur ) mine by forcing the IAS office r to ignore the term ” Captive ” and allow the export of the mined metal to non local areas. This lead to huge issue and the IAS officer ” Sri Lakshmi ” was arrested and suspended from IAS services.

IAS Srilakshmi was later abducted in to the government by the Andhra Pradesh chiefminister Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy almost after 7 years .

The CBI is still working on this case and the case is ongoing.

Sabitha Indra Reddy Son ” Patlolla Karthik Reddy ” has joined TRS ( BRS party ) in 2019 and he failed to get the ticket of Chevella MP constituency from the party.

Sabitha Indra Reddy served as First Female Home minister of any state in the Country of India.

She became the education minister under the second term of KCR rule from 2019-2023. BRS party has given her due credit as KCR hand picked her as female minister against the senior Female MLAs like Padma Devendar Reddy.
