BRS Party full form is Bharat Rasthra Samithi which is just a new name given to the existing regional party ” TRS- Telangana Rashtra Samithi ” on Oct 05th of 2022 on the Auspicious occasion of Dussehra festival. The Founding member of TRS party Mr. K. Chandra Sekhar Rao had conducted a general body meeting which approved the name change from TRS to BRS. The name change was done exactly at 01:19 PM in the afternoon as per the Telugu Panchangam as the TRS chief is a strong believer of Astrology. BRS party will give the Telangana Rashtra Samithi Leadership to enter in to the politics of other states to become a National Party.

BRS would now help many TRS Leaders to get different positions in BRS . KTR the son of KCR is all set to become the Telangana state BRS president where as the national Chief would be KCR.
BRS would contest not only from Telangana but in the states of Maharastra, Andhra, Karnataka and Gujarat to begin with.

Why TRS was changed to BRS ?

TRS stands for Telangana rashtra samithi and it was formed on the grounds of sentiment of Telangana people who had a decades long wish of seperate state as they were exploited in the united Andhra Pradesh. The political ambition of TRS party is fulfilled with state formation and acquiring the power to rule the new state was a Bonus.

Things changed after getting elected to the power for the second time. The Anti Incumbency started with in months and public of Telangana started showing their anger on TRS government in 2019 citing various failures.

2019 Parliament elections were the firsts shock to the TRS party. Out of 16 seats they contested , they only won 9 . Months before , in the general assembly elections of 2018 December, the TRS party won 100+ Assembly seats and as per that victory they were expecting to win in almost all parliamentary seats.

BJP Won 4 MP seats which was an unexpected judgement by the Telangana public.

Except two Bye Elections, BJP was constantly giving rude shocks to TRS in all Bye elections including the Hyderabad Municipal elections in which BJP reduced TRS previous to 50% by winning 42 Corporator seats.

With continous loses and also the Enforcement directorate and other central vigilance bodies attacks on Various TRS related leaders , the KCR had decided to grow bigger than BJP in the country and throw a challenge to it. But, KCR realised that with TRS he cannot be able to contest outside the Telangana state as the party’s nomenclature itself it related to Telangana.

Therefore, KCR decided to give TRS a new image national wide so that he can contest across the country to give a counter to the BJP. Thus, TRS name was changed to BRS to give it the National Image.

What are the strengths of BRS party?

BRS is a Cash Rich Party in the country ! The Party in the name of TRS owns around 1000 Crores of Assets – A newly bought Aeroplane. Functional Buildings in every District of Telangana and own Head Quarters in Costly Jubilee hills area of Hyderabad.

BRS ( TRS ) is currently enjoying the Power in the state of Telangana which is considered as one of the richest states in India.

BRS as of 2022 has 9 MPs in Parliament and 100+ MLAs in Telangana Assembly with almost no opposition.

What are some famous public Schemes by BRS (TRS ) ?

Rythu Bandhu funds to every farmer ( irrespective of how much a farmer owns ). Rythu Bandhu is first of it’s kind in India through which government pays around 5500 rupees per acre to Farmer twice in a year to help them fund new crop.

Dalitha Bandhu scheme offers Rs.10 Lakhs to Schedule Caste families and help them buy Vehicles or start business with capital of Rs.10 lakh.

Pension of Rs. 2200 for Senior citizens which is the highest in the country.

Kalyana Lakshmi amount of up to 1 lakh to the Poor Parents of Brides who are newly married.

KCR kit with all necessary items to the new born baby like Diapers, Johnson baby powder, Oil etc to all new born babies in government hospital.

Except some Communal Riots, Atrocities of Ruling TRS party Leaders ,Some Notorious Rape incidents etc…. Most of the 8 years TRS rule was Peaceful and Law and Order was strictly under Control. One of the best Law and Order states in the country.

What are some Negative aspects of BRS ( TRS ) Party ?

TRS in it’s 8 years of rule received many allegations of Corruptions.
Failure of Kaleshwaram Project (As per retd Engineers ).
Spent around 1 lakh crore on Kaleshwaram Project which is a white Elephant and also it costs around Rs. 14K crores expensives every year to maintain it and pay the interest for the loans bought to construct it.
Failure in Disaster management of Hyderabad and Telangana Floods.
Huge Pampering and Support to the Communal MIM ( Mazlis ) Party. Arrested Hindus in Bodhan riots where only Hindus houses were burnt down.
Huge Wealth Acquired by KCR’s Family members after coming to power.
Alleged involvement of his daughter in Delhi Liquor scam.
Huge Land scams in Hyderabad ( Miyapur Land scam , Satyam Lands at Vattinagulapalli etc..
Failure in Protecting of Telangana Interests. No water projects Finished or started on Krishna river. Andhra Still draws hundred TMCs of water through Srisailam Back waters to Rayalaseema illegally.
Gained the image of Anti Hindu and Pro Minority in the recent times ( Through Biased activities ).

In 2019, Some Villagers from the Maharastra area ( Old Hyderabad Maharastra region – Borders of Telangana like Nanded, Udgir, Chandrapur etc) and Bidar , Gurmitkal etc regions from Karnataka state have approached KCR to allot them tickets to contest on TRS party symbol. This gave birth to the Idea of National Party as KCR Public Welfare schemes ( Free schemes ) were liked by the Surrounding states of Telangana.

Schemes like Rythu Bandhu, Dalitha Bandhu etc were copied by other states and in fact the central government.

Controversies of BRS Party :

Lunch Served to the Guests of BRS in the Telangana Government office ( Pragathi Bhavan ) Which is unofficial and illegal :

Food was served by the Ministers and MLAs ( Can see TRS leaders standing in the background including KTR ) while Telangana Agriculture Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy serves food.

BRS Party Inaugural event is a private event and has got nothing to do with Telangana Government. But Telangana State government had to incur expenses including the office space ( Pragathi Bhavan ) used for its Private event.

KCR and KTR flexies all over the Hyderabad Violating the GHMC Flexy Law

Law broken on Inaugural Day of BRS in Hyderabad. Thousands of Flexies and Banners were set up all over Hyderabad city by the TRS leaders which is illegal. As per the Hyderabad Municipal law , Setting up Flexies on the roads is strictly illegal.

Opposition Criticized BRS as ” Bar and Restaurant Party ”

Many Opponents and Telangana journalists , Netizens trolled the KCR party’s new name as ” Bar and Restaurant Party ” and ridiculed that the new name completely justifies the Party activities as TRS was successful in setting up Belt Shops of Liquor all over Telangana and now it will ensure the Illegal Liquor Belt shops would be spread all over the country. It is well known that KCR’s daughter name was already highlighted in Delhi Liquor Scam and her close aids were interrogated by ED.
