Rani Rudrama was married when she was pursuing BCA final year . While she was doing her MCA course she got through the interview of News Anchor competing with 800 candidates and the final round of interview had 10 Andhra candidates and she was the only Telangana hailed candidate competing for the role.

She claimed in an interview , ” I was the only Telangana candidate and was asked to change my Accent while speaking . Was told my Telugu is not perfect and need to work on it. Felt disrespected but didnt give up. Worked hard for 15 days to change my accent “.

Promptly sidelined to highlight Kalvakuntla Kavitha in BRS party?

Rani Rudrama Reddy Biography is incomplete with out talking about her role in the Telangana media establishments. It is well known that RaniRudrama Reddy was popular BRS leader (then TRS ) due to her existing media image and her oratory skills. KCR invited her to make T news successful and she opted the offer by resigning the Prime time anchor role in major news channel. She played crucial role in TRS media wing and establishing the T news channel by KCR. However after the successful establishment of T news she was sidelined and given no importance by the management . She alleged that she was sidelined to highlight Kavitha and KTR in the party and in the media organisation.

Why joined YSRCP being a Telangana activist?

She justified in an interview that since Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy and Vijayamma had announced that they are not against Telangana state and the party was strong in both the states, I along with Jitta Balakrishna decided to join YSRCP.

“After the bill was passed in Loksabha, YSRCP took U-Turn and announced they are against the Telangana state . This had shocked us and immediately resigned from the party” ! Added Ms.Reddy.

Played crucial role at T news

Rani Rudrama was a prominent official in T news channel for a brief period and she was given major responsibilities by KCR in 2014. However, due to the differences she had with other forces with in T news , she had to resign from T news.

Co – Founded Yuva Telangana Party

Jitta Balakrishna , Rani Rudrama Reddy and others co founded Yuva Telangana party on Sep 05th 2018 and with in 24 hours the Telangana state Assembly was dissolved. Unfortunately, it was wrong time to start a new party as they didnt have much time to go for elections.

The Party did face the elections in December but lost deposits in almost all seats.

After lot of speculations, in 2021 the Yuva Telangana Party had merged with BJP.

The BJP party recognised her work and image and gave the opportunity to play crucial role in the improving Party’s presence in the KTR’s constituency Siricilla. She finally found some break through in fort of KCR’s son through street corner meetings and public started gathering at her meetings. Couple of stalwart Padmashali leaders joined BJP which gathered the attention of KTR as he started sensing some trouble. Finally the state Intelligence police officers were found roaming around the Rani Rudrama Reddy organising Street corner meetings in Siricilla to pass on the updates to the government.
