Metamorphosis of TRS in to BRS, lead to scope of New Telangana Party.

Telangana state is known for the exploitations and backwardness for decades. While the Nizams who were outsiders completely plundered the Telangana wealth , the Andhra Rulers post independence continued the atrocities in other ways. Jobs in Government sector, Access to Education, River water allocation, Funds distribution, allotment of different institutes etc… in every aspect, Telangana had to bite the dust as Andhra’s diverted all the above to their regions. This years long suffering had lead to the birth of the TRS party and it carried the hopes of Telangana for years.

But now due to it’s change over in name, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi had lost it’s touch with the regional Telangana.

Why Can’t KCR ‘s party fight for Telangana Cause any more ?

Now that TRS is changed to BRS and aiming to be the National party , the KCR’s party cannot fight for the cause of Telangana and many pending inter state issues will be ignored.

For ex : Pothareddy Padu water leakage (Water looting issue ) by Andhra Pradesh.

TRS earlier alleged that through Pothireddy Padu Head regulatory scheme , the Andhra Pradesh is illegally drawing more than 100 TMCs of water every year from Srisailam project. The water is illegally drawn and some through the Canals , taken through the Telugu Ganga Project and allots the water to different small water projects in Kurnool, Kadapa, chittoor and Nellore districts. There are around 10+ projects which draw water from Srisailam in Andhra Pradesh.

Now since BRS is a national party and expects presence in Andhra Pradesh too, it cannot point out illegalities of the Andhra authorities. Else it will lose it’s Andhra vote bank.

Similarily if Maharastra government desires to construct a Dam on Godavari or its tributaries and obstruct flow in to Telangana for the benefit of Maharastra public, it cannot fight against the Maharastra region as it will hamper it’s Maratha vote.

Like wise, there will be many issues in which BRS or KCR cannot fight for the cause of Telangana any more. So , there is a need of new Telangana regional party which will fight for the cause of Telangana region.
