Chikoti Praveen is married to Swetha of Hyderabad through arranged marriage. They have a son and a daughter.

Praveen belongs to a well settled business family who were merchants in Troop Bazar of Hyderabad . Chikoti Praveen belongs to Arya Vaishya – Komati caste of Telangana. He was a college drop out from Pragathi College while doing Bcom and entered into business.

His family was into Ceramics and Tiles business . Through various contacts he gained politically , he started the Casino tour management by providing all the logistics and accomodation to various big shots who are interested in playing Casino. Since it is illegal in India, Praveen used to provide all logistics to let them play in places like Nepal, Srilanka, Thailand etc..

What are the Allegations on Chikoti Praveen ?

As per media reports, Chikoti Praveen allegedly organised Casinos in Nepal , Goa and other places and the money was brought in through Hawala into the states. The ED too raided and questioned if there was any FEMA violation in the funds management.

Some sections of Media and politicians alleged that he used popular film actresses and models to lure in big shots to the Casinos and huge amount was paid to these models using Hawala money.

Around 20+ Ruling party Assembly members and 5 ministers are clients of Chikoti Praveen as per the some reports.

However, Chikto Praveen denied all the above reports. He replied confidently in the Interviews and stated ” I did organize multiple Casino events in Nepal, Goa and other places where the Casino game is legal. I hired Models and Actresses for promotions and it is part of business and I have all the invoices for the payments made and received “.

There is no illegal activity involved in it and am just a tour operator. As per some complaints, Enforcement directorate called me and asked if there are any FEMA violations in financial transactions and I answered all of them and they will find if there are violations”. Added Mr. Chikoti in an interview.

Chikoti Praveen Farm House is a Mini Zoo

The Media made a great exploration after some one leaked that Praveen has a farm house with many animals , birds and reptiles and ran hours long footages on their screens for almost a week. However, it was later revealed that his farm house is in Kadthal town outskirts and it is in existence since 6 years with the permission of forest department.

Forest officials visit almost every quarter and take a note of the population of different creatures and check if the sanctuary is being operated by following all regulations . Also on July 30 2022 after the ED raids, the Telangana officials did probe into the Farm house and found all the required documents are there to maintain the sanctuary much to the disappointment of the media.

Chikoti Farm house has different Parrots, reptiles, Python snakes, Different breed of Dogs , Oxen, Cows, buffaloes etc and all are being kept in very safe conditions with all the precautionary steps.
