Masjid demolished in Telangana
Masjid built in disputed area was demolished by the Government authorities in Shamshabad area of Hyderabad. Not much coverage was reported by the Telugu or national media about the Religious place built over 550 Sq yards in the Airport city. As per the sources, notices were given by authorities about the property built against 110 GO which is illegal. However, the actual reasons are yet to be revealed by authorities.
Residents near by Masjid have alleged that the demolishing took place in the midnight by locking their houses from outside.
800 police with three bulldozers under the supervision of District collector the Mosque was demolished with out even notifying me , said “Mr. Jahangir Khan -Local Municipal Counsellor representing from TRS party”.
No coverage was reported much by any of the local Media except the Siasat Daily. The incident reportedly took place on August 02 and exact reason apart from being constructed in GO110 applicable area , no other reasons were reported by siasat.
