Teenmaar Mallanna is finally suspended from congress yesterday . The Telangana PCC president Mahesh kumar goud in Gandhi Bhavan had confirmed officially that Teenmaar Mallanna alias Chintapandu Naveenkumar is suspended from congress party on the grounds of Violation of party’s code of conduct. Mallanna is representing Congress party in Legislative council currently and he was elected as MLC ( Graduate MLC ) last year. Teenmaar Mallanna’s stint with congress party ended officially on March 01st 2025 and he didnt respond to the suspension yet.
Why is Teenmaar Mallanna Suspended from Congress?
Teenmaar Mallanna alias Chintapandu Naveen kumar is known to run the Youtube Media channel ” QNews ” through which he unoficially canvassed for Congress party for years by ridiculing and exposing many activities of KCR’s BRS party.
The Q News media channel and related news paper Shanarthi Telangana have worked extensively in exposing KCR negative aspects which helped Congress party to gain huge mileage during the General elections in 2023.
Eventually, the TeenmaarMallanna joined congress and went on to contest for Graduate MLC post and won it with remarkable majority.
However, the Caste census in Telangana is the major reason which made Teenmaar Mallanna to question the congress party’s biased nature against the backward classes.
Teenmaar Mallanna had questioned the accuracy in the numbers mentioned in the Caste census released by the Telangana congress and he alleged the ” Reddy community dominance” in the party . He further alleged that it is Congress minister senior politician Jana Reddy under whose direction the edits in the caste census took place to show the Reddys in high numbers ( over 12.5 % in the state ) whereas the entire Backward caste Hindus where reduced to mere 45% .
This report had upset the entire BC population in the state and the BC leadership in the society of Telangana. There was huge meet conducted in Warangal against the Caste census report and it was anchored by the Congress MLA Teenmaar Mallanna.
Mallanna alleged that Congress party is infested with Reddy community leaders and majority of the posts including that of Chiefminister are being occupied by the Community whereas the entire Backwardcastes put together were given very few handful of posts . The 10-12 % Reddys are seen in majority of posts whereas some of the Backward castes were completely ignored.
He even burnt the Caste census document in the live show of Q News and this is considered as a serious violation by congress party as the report was made and released during the congress party rule .
“There were multiple complaints from different members on Teenmaar mallanna about the lose tongue and anti party activities. We have warned him multiple times to correct himself but he was constantly voicing against the party activities and he also burnt the official document which is considered as party violation. We sent him show cause notice for which he didnt respond. Therefore, the congress party disciplinary committee had decided to suspend him ” —- Mahesh Kumar Goud -PCC President of Telangana state.
