Vijay Varisu Telugu release faces troubles

Vijay Varisu Telugu version “Vaarasudu” is now all set for release troubles in Telugu states. The film was planned to release during Sankranthi by the Ace Producer Dil Raju and provide a big launch for Vijay in Telugu but this seems to be not so easy now. Prabhas Adipurush is announced to hit screens on Sankranti and this film would take away huge chunk of screens. Still the producer Dil Raju being the top distributor in Telugu states could have managed the release in grand way despite of Prabhas movie but the other biggies too are eyeing on the same date and this is going to be a huge set back for Vijay’s Telugu grand launch.

Vijay doesn’t have Telugu market like Rajinikanth, Suriya or Karthi. The hit movies of these actors would get decent theatres in Telugu states and audiences like to watch their movies if they are not of complete tamil backdrop. However, Vijay though tried hard in the last one decade to invade Telugu market , could not see much success. The Maximum Collections Vijay could achieve with no other big competitions was not more than 10 Cr. Since Telugu audience donot like Vijay kind of Mass action entertainers , he could not never see big success.

Balakrishna’s “Reddy Garu” is going to be huge barrier for Vijay’s Varisu in Telugu.

Even after decades of career, Balakrishna still holds the grip on Sankranthi releases. Due to the roaring success of Akhanda last year, Balakrishna’s image has increased and Telugu Mass audiences are eagerly waiting for his movie. Given the powerful title ” Reddy Garu” , the movie has already gained huge Buzz.

Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya too is being scheduled to release during Sankranti. The Megastar’s craze has come down a little but still he gets more than thousand screens on release easily.

The biggest set back for the Producer Dil Raju is that he is the major distributor of all the above Telugu cinemas including ‘Adipurush”. So he needs to adjust theatres for all the four big movies this Sankranti.

Pavan Kalyan’s HariHara Veeramallu has not announced release date yet but is expected to hit screens in January only if the actor cum politician provides few more dates in coming months.

Siva Karthikeyan is all set for his great Launch in Telugu through Prince and he got majority of the screens. Got over 70+ screens in Hyderabad alone. Probably Vijay too can get only same number of screens or even less.
