Bhajan Lal Sharma is selected as new Chiefminister of Rajasthan on December 13 2023.
BJP high command had picked the RSS backed BJP Karyakarta for the chief minister post amidst of surprise. After the Assembly elections results announced on December 03rd the BJP central leadership had maintained suspense in announcing the CM candidate.
Baba Balaknath, Diya kumari , Vasundhara Raje were in the race and speculations. However on the December 13 the high command announced a surprise name for the CM post.
Party also announced Diya Kumari and Prem Chanda Bairwa as Deputy Chief ministers.
