Director Prashanth verma had announced the film on May 29 2021 on his birthday after enjoying his lock down project success ( Zombie Reddy ) that this Film is going to be the first Super hero film made in Telugu. However, he also announced that he is planning to make these films in installments and introduce different super hero with each film under the enterprise _Prashanth Verma Cinematic Universe.

However, after the half of the film shoot the budget increased exponentially and delayed the film shoot. Therefore, production costs had delayed the movie release and makers announced a date of Jan 2024 in the summer of 2023.

The first glimpse of Hanuman teaser turned out to be worth as it received huge appreciations all over the India due to its amazing VFX. The reviewers and meme makers used Hanuman Teaser to criticize the graphics work of Adipurush, Brahmastra and Pathaan .

Teja had earlier played the lead role in the successful movie of the same director Prashanth verma’s Zombie reddy. It was first indian movie on Zombies and it worked out well.

SSharath Kumar’s daughter Varalakshmi is playing the crucial role in the movie while Raj Deepath shetty plays the main antagonist role.

Hanuman Movie is set up in a fictional village of Anjanadri and the shoot took place in the Marudimilli forest of Andhra.
