There are only two movies which are officially approved by Mahesh Babu and these two would take more than two years to get completed. So all the News of Mahesh upcoming movies is just a Gossip. Mahesh did listen to the subjects narrated by Pusha Director (Sukumar ) , KGF director, Arjun Reddy director , Mani ratnam etc.. but didnt approve any of those for various reasons. He is sincerely waiting only for Rajamouli script as he liked the concept explain by him.

Rajamouli – Mahesh Babu untitled movie ( ______ ) An African Adventure Movie ?

This project was announced by Rajamouli during the Promotions of RRR. Currently Rajamouli and his team are working on the story development. It is a long desire of Telugu people to see Mahesh babu in the James Bond avatar and the demands were heard by Rajamouli in various occassions. However, director expressed about working on an African jungle concept movie for Mahesh Babu. Only title would reveal whether ” Jakkanna ” had opted for the Spy- James Bond concept or African Adventure plot for the Super star.

Mahesh Babu upcoming movies would not be on Scripts like Sarkaru Vari Paata

Mahesh Babu who has been waiting for the scripts from Trivikram and Rajamouli in the last two years had to opt ” Sarkaru Vaari Paata ” kind of script to finish the project faster only to provide quick dates to the above two directors if just in case they come up with right projects. Since both the directors failed to complete the script work for any project in the lockdown, Mahesh had to chose the subject narrated by a director who just had one medium block buster in his career.

Prior to release itself, there were too many leaks and exposures that Mahesh is not happy with the second half of the movie. That is why he opted for multiple Foreign tours with family leading to shooting disruptions.

As per the sources, Mahesh had decided not to wait for any director in his career. Rajamouli would first and last director to make Mahesh wait for a whole year and indirectly forced him to work on a small and quickie project like Sarkaru Vaari paata which ran with mixed reviews. Despite of Negative content , the movie ran for 4 weeks and more and all due to the Craze of Super star.
