Munugode TRS Candidate is also a Reddy Community Person

Munugode TRS Candidate announcement had completely shattered the hopes of Backward Caste communities. TRS had too announced a Reddy Community person for for the Munugode Bye Elections. The BJP by default had to chose the migrant Komati Reddy Rajagopal Reddy who resigned from his sitting MLA seat and Congress Party only to join the BJP party. Whereas Congress had announced Palvai Sravanthi D/o Ex Congress Leader Palvai Goverdhan Reddy as it’s Candidate. TRS took lot of time in announcing the candidate as the Top leadership was busy with BRS party announcements till Oct 05th.

Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy was TRS MLA from the same Munugode Constituency during 2014-2018 term. However, he lost in 2018 general elections against Komati Reddy Rajagopal Reddy with a margin of 22k votes.

Kusukunla Prabhakar Reddy announcement has left the Back ward Caste communities disappointed as all the three major parties have announced only Reddys as their candidates where as the Caste wise analysis of Munugode Constituency shows that BC population is dominant in this region.

With more than 60 Percent population of BCs with 27% of Mudiraj and Goud communities , the backward Caste communities were expecting TRS to announce one of it’s candidature for the MLA post. However, the TRS chief had opted a Rich Reddy guy once again.
