The Shahrukh Khan starrer is really the luckiest movie of Bollywood in the last 4 years as it has got the highest craze than any other movie in the recent times. The openings did prove the craze and thanks to the Shahrukh Fans who ensured the bookings are full for Morning shows across the big cities. Lets see if Siddharth Anand was successful enough. Pathaan Movie review cant be started with out remembering you about Siddharth Anand previous films like Bang bang and war.

Boycott Pathaan Saga continued for Shahrukh khan Pathaan also but a nice movie cannot be Boycotted completely and Bollywood is eagerly waiting to prove this point. Pathaan was about to break this jinx and prove that a good Bollywood flick cannot be boycotted. However, Pathaan could be little successfull in getting below average box office collections as the openings proved to be good. The Fans of Shahrukh and a community of Fans ( As per social media a religion youth ) rigorously worked hard to ensure the openings are good by booking majority of the tickets. What ever may be the reason , the openings were little good compared to other Bollywood movies.

If we get in to the story, it is a regular spy -agent movie which has both Pakistan and Indian counterparts. The Villain is here not the Pakistani but an Ex – Indian army man. Honest and good soldier Mr. Jim turns out to be a bad boy due to an incident and develops hatred on the country. This enemity on own nation leads to development of a virus called ” Rakth Bheej “. How the Indian Agent Pathaan protect the nation from this Ex- Soldier is the entire story.

Pakistani Agent Rubayi too has a routine flash back which makes her cruel and vengeful. Now all these characters make this an international script not because of Pakistani and Indian agents but the travel trips of these agents to countries like Pakistan, Spain, Africa, Russia etc.. Most of the movie looked like Travelogue rather than a thriller spy movie. The characters in the movie simply travel like our Youtubers from one country to another inthe name of operations.

There is nothing new to make the movie neither interesting nor thrilling as the story becomes predictable as it passes each minute in the movie. The Action sequences are not so convincing like Siddharth Anand’s previous flicks like War or Bang Bang. Probably the previous actions films were little convincing due to the cut outs of Hrithik and Tiger shroff. But here the lead actors are above 50 years and hence it was not so convincing. Action sequences were too stuntful than a periodic movie or even closer to that of a super human movie.

It is really confusing to find out which section of audience the makers have targetted. The young audience cannot be targetted as the lead character Mr.Khan is no more a favourite of Youth and most of his fans are in middle age and they cannot digest these unconvincing and illogical action stunts.

Routine and guessable story line, unconvincing action scenes ( note than only Rajinikanth and Balakrishna are the stars who are accepted with these sort of super human stunts on screen in India ) , Immatured script makes Pathaan a BIG BUDGET BAKWAAS.

Final Conclusion : Pathaan Movie may like the Bollywood audience who have gone through years of waiting for a star action movie but not the matured audience who have watched too many Hollywood and south Action flicks with amazing concepts.

The Movie can run with below average rating and can gross around 300+ crores due to Shahrukh’s image and efforts of his fans to increase bookings. However , one needs to understand that a National star is capable of drawing more than 800 crores with an average film these days.
