Rangamarthanda Trailer released, Brahmanandam dominates in performance.
Krishnavamshi directorial Emotional roller coaster Rangamarthanda trailers gets mixed reviews which resembled to walk on the lines similar to RajendraPrasad’s ” Aa Naluguru” with change in the lead role being a Stage Drama artist. The Prakash Raj starrer has the Brahmanandam in the pivotal role with Ramyakrishna, Anasuya, Rahul sipligunj etc in other roles. Prakash raj played the role of a legendary stage drama artist and the story revolves around the part of his retired old life and its tragedies. The trailer really had no flavour of Krishnavamshi at all.
However, the Trailer had some interesting aspect of Brahmanandam which appealed the audience a lot. The Comedy legend had appeared in a serious role after long time and he excelled in it. Brahmi is the one who get huge applauds from viewers for his serious role and dialogue delivery. Neither Prakash Raj nor the Krishnavamsi are able to create any impact with the trailer.
Prakash Raj acting looked so similar to his previous movies and there is not any change. This role needs to be picturised in a convincing way that he is an extra ordinary stage actor but his roles and dialogues look pretty ordinary.
There is no mark of Krishnavamsi in the trailer and none of his fans could identify that it is his movie if his name is not mentioned in the titles.
Trailer starts with voice over of Tanikella Bharani describing the acting skills of the title role that he excels the role of Ravana, Mayala Fakir etc but Prakash Raj doesnt appear in any of these roles in the trailer. The trailer gives an impression that movie runs on a mixed concept of Aa naluguru, Midhunam and other old movies which revolve around the retired old parents lives who are ignored or misunderstood by their children.
Nevertheless, it is a fresh feeling for Telugu audience to see Brahmanandan in the serious role and specially the newer generation who has never seen in any serious role in the recent times. He excelled in expression, appearance and the dialogues and completely dominated Prakash Raj.
