Saif ravana

Saif Ali Khan’s role in Adipurush movie is turning out to the most negative aspect of the movie. It is well known that most of the Hindi belt Audiences are keen about Boycotting the Movies of any Khan Actor, the south Indians have a different reason for being upset with Adipurush. The poor taking of the movie , sub standard graphics used in the trailer is one of the major reason why Telugu Audiences have expressed their anger on the director ” Om Raut ” but there is also another major reason why Adipurush is not able to excite the Telugu Audiences or Prabhas Fans.

Saif Ali Khan played the role of Ravan in the movie and it is evident with the trailer. The north India and Hindi Belt Audiences probably accept Saif in the role of the Demon king but the South Indians and specially the Telugu audiences have a preset Standard expectations for the Role of Ravan.

With the Strong history of Movies related to Puranas ( Ramayan and Mahabharat ) in Tollywood, the Audience of Telugu audiences have a preset Image for Ravan in their minds.

From 1950s to the recent Yamadhonga movie of Rajamouli, the characters like Ravan, Ram , Yamadharma Raj, Kamsa, Krishna, Dhuryodhan were played by the legendary Telugu actors who were not only exceptional with their acting skills and Dialogue delivery , they were also Macho in looks with Tall and Handsome Bodies.

Tall figure, Macho body, who can carry long Gadha or Bow, marvellous, Dialogue delivery, scary Voice, Macho tone , Easy and convincing Facial expressions , Moustaches, Dark Eyebrows often being risen etc are the basic qualities required for an actor to play the role of Ravan.

The Great legendary actors like, SV Ranga Rao, NTR, Satyanarayana, Mohan Babu etc… have set a bench mark in playing the role of the Lanka King.

SV Ranga Rao
Chikna Saif Ali Khan is a no match to this Gambheera Human

Since the 5.5 Ft Short Chikna cant be show cased as scary demon, the makers have given him ” Hollywood Avengers Costume ” and Added beard and Maskara.

Now see the Most handsome Ravana Ever- the N. T. Rama Rao

NTR as Ravana

Is there any comparison between the images of NTR and Saif.

Now after watching the great legendary NTR and SVR in the role of Ravan for decades, Can the Telugu Audience like the Short Chikna Fellow Saif with not much acting skills in the same place ?
