Rahul Gandhi hoists Indian Flag at Srinagar lal Chowk

Rahul Gandhi becomes first congress man in 4 decades to hoist national flag in Lalchowk Srinagar at 12.00 today . Congress party proudly shared it on it’s official twitter account only to be trolled by the BJP supporters. Mr. Gandhi as part of his Bharat Jodo yatra reached kashmir last week and tried creating some hype by hoising the flag in Srinagar. The BJP supporters on twitter reacted ” Modi hai to mumkin hai ” means any thing is possible with Modi. It is all because no politician dared to even enter Srinagar with out armed protection before 2014, forget about hoisting Indian Flag there. As back in 1992 , Narendra Modi with then then popular BJP leader Murali Manohar Joshi reached Srinagar and hoisted Indian flag in Lalchowk. Those were the times of Peak Islamic seperation terrorism in Kashmir where it was risk to life to even carry Indian flag. No Congress politician dared to think of doing it in those days.

Now after 8 years of Narendra Modi’s rule things have significantly changed in Kashmir and this act by any politician doesn’t mean a daring act.
