Revanth Reddy started his political stint when he was student in AV college. One would be surprised to know that he was an ABVP member ( AKhila Bharateeya Vidhya Parishad ) which is a student wing of the BJP party. Which proves he was a staunch nationalist and patriot. His close friend explain that he chose to join strong forces at that time as BJP was not a strong opposition in Telugu states.
ZPTC member as Independent candidate
revanth Reddy had started his political career as independent candidate and won ZPTC member of Midgil mandal in 2006. It is claimed that he had help of some of the TDP higher officials and was helped indirectly to win the elctions.
Eventually he got the ticket of TDP to contest from Kodangal in 2009 and won with ease in the wave of YSR.
