Thatikonda Rajaiah Biography from Doctor to Politician, deputy CM to delcine of image due to allegations of filthy behaviour with women and many other details. Dr. Rajaiah was born in Thatikonda village of Jangaon district near Station Ghanpur in Telangana. His parents were Marapaka Laksmi and Marapaka Venkatayya who were Hindus but later converted to christianity like several other Dalit families in Ghanpur area. He was from a Poor Madiga caste family of SC dominated area but was lucky to have access to the education. He got the seat in MBBS in late 70s in Kakatiya medical college which he successfully finished and later did specialisation in children treatment. Thatikonda Rajaiah was famous as 4 rupees doctor in Warangal area as he used to treat children and women for amount Rs.4 as prescription fee.

Thatikonda Rajaiah Caste is SC Madiga and this social status has become a boon for him as he got an offer of becoming Deputy CM and also three times MLA of Station Ghanpur which is dominated by SC Madigas.

T.Rajaiah Political career

Rajaiah was invited by NTR via his son in law D.venkateshwar Rao in to politics in 1993-94 to contest on TDP ticket but he rejected the offer. Later the BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya too invited him to contest on BJP ticket but Doctor had rejected citing he is a christian and would prefer to opt left party but not the right. This lead to the emergence of a new Dalit politician Mr.Kadiyam Srihari who got the ticket from TDP in the same elections and he elected to the Assembly .

Later after the rise of Kadiyam Srihari the Congress party had no other option but to convince Rajaiah to contest against the mighty Kadiyam Srihari. Mr. Y.S.Rajasekhar Reddy personally approached Rajaiah and took him to Sonia Gandhi to convince him to join the Indian national congress. He won 2009 elections against the G.Vijaya Rama Rao of TRS and Kadiyam Srihari of TDP.

T.Rajaiah in Telangana Movement

Rajaiah who was serving as MLA in Congress government had resigned from his post in 2012 and joined the Telangana movement and contested the By-elections on TRS ticket and won with thumping majority. From there he continued to be part of TRS and won the elections of 2014 and 2018.

Controversy of Losing Deputy CM post .

Citing some irregularities in financial transcations, recruitment and also mismanagement of department during Swine Flu cases in Hyderabad, the government of Telangana had sacked Mr. Rajaiah from his post. However, it is not clear till now on what grounds exactly the doctor turned politician was fired from his deputy CM post. Most of the political analysts observe that the sacking of Rajaiah was on cards for long time as he once in public meeting announced about Health university in Warangal with out the consent or approval of announcement from KCR. This announcement had pissed off KCR and he decided to politically crush Rajaiah as per many political analysts.

Tug of war between Rajaiah and Kadiyam Srihari

Rajaiah Vs Kadiyam Srihari is an ongoing political rivalry in Station Ghanpur constituency. After Mr.kadiyam was brought in to BRS part (TRS party) by KCR to checkmate Rajaiah , both have been neck to neck in the constituency. Rajaiah had once publicly stated that When Kadiyam Srihari was an MLA of Ghanpur in the ruling party of TDP , around 300 encounters took place in the constituency and Mr.Kadiyam did nothing to help those victims.

Replying to these statements of Rajaiah , Mr.Srihari said he has all the evidences of the MLA’s filthy activities, criminal activities , drunken episode activities etc and now will party will take the decision as who would contests from Ghanpur constituency from now on.

Thatikonda Rajaiah sexual assault allegations & notorious incidents with Women

Thatikonda Rajaiah wiki/biography is incomplete with out talking about his notorious incidents with women. A famous audio went viral in which he was flirting with a young woman , then after few months in 2020 in a birthday event of one of the local activist, his fingers were licked by one of the party female activist. There were huge rumours that Rajaiah seeks sexual pleasures from political women in constituency of station Ghanpur.

However, in March 2023 one of the Female Sarpanch from the constituency Ms.Navya had alleged how sexually she was harrassed by Dr. Rajaiah.

As per political analysts, Thatikonda Rajaiah political strength lies in his community support. Around 20% of voters of Station Ghanpur are christians and most of them are of Madiga ( SC )caste. Therefore, all the political parties were behind Rajaiah to lure him into their parties since 90s. However, since his image is almost damaged due to many allegations, his victory and survival in politics is now completely dependence on Dalit Christian votes. He would easily have cutting edge towards other rivalries if the christians of Ghanpur still decide to opt him irrespective of his behaviour towards women.
